Such nice people who were great communicating with the family - just sweet, sweet staff. I do wish the rooms had bigger windows to let in more natural light, but everything is clean. One of the main reasons we picked The Hearth for our loved one was because of the staff - the are so attentive and so accommodating to not only the residents but to their families. We chose Traditions of Mill Creek because of the convenience to my home. Also the needs that my dad required - they were able to accommodate him whereas some of the other places we looked were not. My dad passed there and the nurse on staff that day was very kind to our family.
You have meal prepared for you but you have to go to the dining room. Their second level is for medical level. If you have a lot of medical problems, you go into it.

They enjoyed the bus service that took them to different places. Personally, evening meals were a pleasure to experience, with very good food and formal service. The staff always welcomed visitors and knew the majority by name. It was neat to see a salon partition directly in the facility.

You can go from totally independent living to total nursing care. It was a very nice facility and they do have some small patio homes, which was a nice thing too for somebody like me who is still independent. I have eaten there and it was very good food. The rooms were along a long, dark corridor and it felt more like an elderly facility or more like a nursing home. The people were quite helpful and nice. Charter senior living is a fairly good place that is located close to family, making this transition very convenient.
I would recommend you look into the community for your loved ones. The friendliness of the staff and the director or nursing is very understanding and knowledgeable. The Activities Director is amazing at... We have had several meals and they have been delicious it is not like institutional food at all. They have morning and afternoon activities and they even take the residents on field trips.

The sense of family and community that is at work between the staff and the people living at AT is very evident as you spend time visiting the facility. I would give Azalea Trace a high rating but it was very expensive. They have a waiting list that is about a year and a half to two years. Their grounds are landscaped to the Nth degree. They're beautiful and really well designed.
The residents are well taken care of, the building is clean and smells good and people walk around with smiles on their faces. The leadership there is very good and they always seem to be doing something new and exciting for the residents. I’m glad my friend found Azalea Trace, I know he’s very happy there. My 94 year old aunt has lived at Azalea Trace for the past 5 years. She started in an apartment and now is in health care. Azalea Trace is considered the premier senior residence in our area and in some ways it probably is.

Everyone has trouble keeping good help. We really like all the different activities they have going on for the residents there - between bingo, different board games and bringing in live entertainment to play some music. However would recommend your love one to be more self-sufficient if they are going to be living here. Mom fell in love with this facility the second she saw it. This was the only place that we found that fit her budget and it has been a great experience. They have tons of activities provided, the calendar...
